Greek Turkey Burger Recipe:
What you will need:
- 7 Oz. Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 Medium Lemon
- ¼ Teaspoon of Minced Garlic
- ¼ Teaspoon of Dried Dill
- 25 Lb. of Ground Turkey
- 6 Halves of Sun Dried Tomatoes
- 1 Medium Red Onion
- 2 Oz. of Frozen Spinach
- ¼ Cup of Crumbled Feta
- 1 Teaspoon of Dried Oregano
- ½ Teaspoon of Minced Garlic
- 1/3 Cup of Bread Crumbs
- 1 Large Egg
- 1 Medium Cucumber
- 6 Hamburger Buns
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
How to prepare:
- Start by preparing the yogurt sauce simply by combining ¼ teaspoon of minced, Greek yogurt, salt, dry dill, and the juice of half of the lemon. Stir until well combined and then chill in the refrigerator to allow the flavors to blend.
- Next, thaw the spinach and remove as much moisture as possible before chopping the spinach. Next, add the chopped red onion and sun dried tomatoes to the mix.
- Separately, combine the spinach, ground turkey, sun dried tomatoes, red onion, garlic, dried oregano, bread crumbs, feta, egg, salt, and pepper and stir together until well combined. Shape this mixture into patties that you can throw on the skillet.
- Once cooked through, top each burger with the yogurt sauce and slices of cucumber and red onion.
- Serve with your favorite side dish and enjoy!
